I was hoping to go live this week…

      Hi Lisa,

Unfortunately we can not recreate your problem and categories are displayed perfectly on our demo version as you may see on this page: http://dessky.me/wooshoplite/shop/ .

There is clearly a problem with your wordpress installation so try to deactivate all plugins (except woocommerce) and update wordpress and woocommerce to the most recent version.

Please give this a try and let me know how it went.

      Thanks.

i have done this, only woocommerce installed and both whooshop and wordpress are running on their latest versions (3.5.2 and 2.0 respectively) but the categories and products.

          Hi Lisa,

Please check if you have WooCommerce 2.0.12 installed, maybe this is what causing this problem.

Also make sure that in the wordpress admin page “WooCommerce” > “Settings” > “Catalog” > in the “Shop Page Display” is “Show subcategories” selected.

On the following link you can see how categories are aligned on our demo version http://dessky.me/wooshoplite/shop/ (we have uploaded your images this time to get a better feel).

I hope this will help you fix the problem.

If not then we will need to make a professional theme installation and for that just send us a message via our contact form.

          Thank you!

this is so weird, all settings checked and ok, i fiddled with the css a bit so I uploaded your original version, woocommerce version is ok. I am now using inspect elements to see what causes the difference.

            Hi Lisa,

I take second look at your website and it seems that your website is not calling default woocommerce CSS file (wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/css/woocommerce.css).

Try to check “Enable WooCommerce CSS” on the woocommerce settings page.

Thought this would help you to track the problem.

            Thanks.

could you give me a hint please? the difference manifests itself at the start of the content at
where on your demoshop the values are 700×239 pixels, and on mine the values are 700×730… I am frantically searching where these values are defined…

    • Milan says:

      Hi Lisa,

I’ve already gave you a hint in the earlier post :)

If this is not helping then please contact us for the professional installation.

      Thank you!

You are brilliant, sorry for not refreshing the page and not noticing the hint! It looks absolutely brilliant now!

Hi, just installed the WooShop lite theme on my website http://www.mobieletools.nl/. It’s easy and everything seems to look fine! Nice. There is one thing I don’t like; the mobile (smartphone) views. Is there a way to just use the regular desktop design on smartphones? It’s a responsive design, so it would be possible i think by changing some HTML/CSS tags? Or to delete the mobile detection script? I hope you can help me, thanks in advance.

    • Milan says:

Hi Roy, Thank you for using WooShop Lite theme. I must say that this is a really unusual request :)

Nevertheless, you can edit style.css file and remove mobile classes.

Please note that style editing needs to be done by the experienced web developer familiar with the CSS and wordpress so that you don’t end up with a broken theme, also it’s mandatory that before you begin with the editing you make a backup of the style.css file!

If you are interested we can do this customization for you for a small fee, just send us a message from our contact page.

      I hope this was helpful.

      Thanks.
